I love the black African soap. It is really good for your skin and is safe to use around eyes also. Love, love, love! I have used the African black soap for several months and it is truly amazing. I have chronic dry eyes and my MD told me to use baby shampoo to cleanse my eyelids. However, baby shampoo has formaldehyde in it. I don't want to use that around and in my eyes.
