Pine essential oil has a crisp, fresh, sweet, forest like aroma. It is steam distilled from needles, twigs, and cones of the pine tree. Pine essential oil has been noted for its antiseptic properties along with its use for sore joints and muscles. We use sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and soybean oil as the base oils for our massage oils. Sweet almond oil and soybean oil are superb for use in massage as they both give an excellent glide. Jojoba oil is very similar to the oil your skin produces.
